Direct Student Services - These are in person interactions between the school counselor and students, and include the following:
- School Wide Guidance and Support: This consists of structured lessons designed to help students attain the desired competencies, and to provide all students with the knowledge, attitudes, and appropriate skills for their developmental level. The school wide guidance curriculum is delivered throughout Bellview's overall curriculum and is systemically presented by the school counselor in collaboration with other professional educators in classroom and group activities.
- Individual Student Planning: The school counselor coordinates ongoing systemic activities designed to assist students in establishing (and reaching) personal goals, developing specific skills, and planning for the future.
- Responsive Services: These services are activities designed to meet students' immediate needs or concerns. Responsive services may include counseling in individual or small group settings, and/or crisis response.
